Newsflash
Yesterday all servers in the U.S. went out on strike in a bid to get more RAM and better CPUs. A spokes person said that the need for better RAM was due to some fool increasing the front-side bus speed. In future, busses will be told to slow down in residential motherboards.

How did summer end so fast?

It went so fast, I totally forgot August! :)

Just having returned from my annual geek pilgrimage down to Atlanta for Dragon*Con, and with the reopening of one of my own games on the horizon, I find myself renewed. I always seem to, when fall comes - isn't that sort of opposite? But in the mush world, that's when things start anew. People come back to school, populations rise on our games, and we gain back our old regulars full time, and gain new people to the worlds we've created.

It's an exciting time for all, and Electricsoup is no exception. We've decided on a new CMS platform for the site that will have much better forums, account management, and article submission. I hope to have it done prior to the end of the year (I'm setting a realistic timeline :P) so stay tuned. If you'd like to see new sections/features/etc on the new site set up, I'd love to hear about it!

Happy Mu*ing!

As this forum is noticeably devoid of content pertaining to World of Darkness (WoD) games, I thought I might start the ball rolling. Most people with even a tangential interest in roleplaying are initially exposed to two themes in their formative years: 'Dungeons and Dragons,' alongside 'Vampire Games.' It is no big surprise, then, that the mainstream media and popular culture stereotype gamers into these two factions; the former represents decades of TSR's work whilst the latter has a diverse history within which White Wolf's games are probably most notable. Metro: Toronto by Night falls into the category of games exploring White Wolf's themes: darkness, conflict, terror and the supernatural.
